
September 2007: Introducing Bray Allen ...
Bray Allen is Research and Development Technician for DBCI in Douglasville, Georgia. He started with the company in July of 2004 and has been at his current position since July 2005. He also has experience in inside sales and customer service and currently serves as chairman of the Rolling Sheet Door Committee for DASMA (Door and Access Systems Manufacturers Association). DASMA is a nationally recognized organization that is involved in developing industry standards and building code requirements.
Prior to this position, Bray worked for Quality Garage Doors of Cedartown, Georgia, which was a family owned and operated business in commercial and residential garage doors since 1978.
Bray's extensive knowledge and experience will help DBCI to remain the leader in the rolling sheet door industry.

September 2007: Greg Andrews appointed shipping clerk
Greg Andrews has been appointed shipping clerk for DBCi’s
plant location in Douglasville, GA where he will handle scheduling and shipping of Hotshots and Flat Bed trucks throughout the eastern U.S. for self-storage and commercial door products.
Andrews started at DBCI in April of 2004 as a Customer Service Representative. In September 2006 he moved to the plant and took a position in the inventory control department with the assignment to monitor and correct gains and losses in inventory. Andrews prior experience came from Georgia Portable buildings where he worked in sales and installation of buildings, carports, and garages.

September 2007: Marie Couch appointed Customer Service Representative
Marie Couch has been appointed Customer Service Representative for DBCi’s corporate office in Douglasville, GA. Marie comes to us from DBCI’s shipping department, where she has worked since joining the DBCi family in March of 2003.
Marie has a diverse background in management, customer service and event planning from her many years in the food and beverage industry. Early in her career, Marie also managed a quality control group for Sony Music. Her career focus has been on attention to detail and world class customer service.
Marie is well versed in business administration skills and computer applications from her training at West Central Technical College in Doulgasville, Georgia.

September 2007: Nelson Hendrix appointed Southeastern
District Sales Manager
Nelson Hendrix has been appointed Southeastern District Sales Manager for the self-storage division of DBCi. His territory includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
Hendrix started at DBCi as Inside Sales Manager where he was responsible for managing the company’s self-storage and commercial door inside sales on the East Coast.
Hendrix came to DBCi with a solid background in sales, sales management, business development and account retention. He most recently was eastern regional manager for Overhead Door Corporation, of Dallas. He also worked as a territory sales representative for Pace Material Handling, Kent, Washington.
Hendrix attended Hyles Anderson College, Crown Point, Indiana, and served as a paratrooper and communications specialist in the U.S. Army.

September 2007: Peter Hart appointed Northwest Territory
Sales Manager for DBCI
Peter Hart is the new Northwest Territory Sales Manager for DBCI. He is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hart will be responsible for managing the company’s self storage door sales in the Northwestern region encompassing Canada, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Hart has been in the self storage and commercial door industry since 2005. Prior to this position, he has worked in the industrial sales industry for the past decade.
Peter and his wife Jeana have three children. He enjoys playing and coaching various sports. He is an optimist and he has a very warm and outgoing personality. In his spare time, Peter volunteers to coach basketball and football for various youth teams.
Peter is excited about working for DBCI, and getting to know his customers in the Northwestern States.

September 2007: Roc Hughes appointed Director of
Business Development & Marketing
Roc Hughes has recently been appointed the Director of Business Development & Marketing for DBCI (Self-Storage Division). He will be responsible for the district sales managers as well as the inside sales & marketing campaigns. He is located at the corporate office in Douglasville, GA.
Hughes has been in the Self Storage & Commercial Door industry since 2001. Prior to the door industry he worked as a Software Sales Consultant for IBM in the Atlanta area. He played baseball & received his Bachelors Degree from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1996. He & his wife Tammy live in the Douglasville area & have been married 9 years. In his spare time he also enjoys playing sports, skiing & fishing.

Stephen Sapp has been appointed estimator for DBCi with responsibility for assisting customers in the Western Region of the Self-Storage Door Division.
Sapp is a 7 year employee of DBCi, having previously served in the company’s customer service and inside sales departments.

September 2007: Steve Pope has been appointed as the New Central District Commercial Manager
Steve Pope has been appointed as the New Central District Commercial Manager for DBCI. Steve Lives in Kansas City and will be covering, Oklahoma, Arkansas,
Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin.
Prior to DBCI, Steve spent three years as a district Sales Manager for a Commercial Door Manufacturer, working with Door Distributors in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
Prior to the Door business Steve Spent 22 years in the Commercial Refrigeration Business with one Manufacturer. In those 22 years he functioned as an Area Manager, Regional Sales manager and a Business Development Manager. He was responsible for a 9 State 4 Provence Territory.
