DBCI Self-Storage Door Tensioning

One innovation that was developed specifically for self-storage doors is the DBCI tension bracket. A door that is easy to close but hard to open needs an increase in spring tension. A door that is hard to close but easy to open requires a decrease in spring tension. With the bracket found exclusively at DBCI, fast and safe adjustments can be accomplished with ease.

With the door in the open position, simply insert a standard 5/16 Allen wrench into the exposed drive, and adjust clockwise to reduce tension or counterclockwise to increase tension. If you want to use a drill attachment, be sure it's a variable speed drill set at a low speed.
